Back to Life

The 40th year came in like a lion and went out like a lamb. Appropriate, I guess considering the time of year.

We had a great time, awesome food & drink, great friends and a night in a hotel where the birthday girl was allowed to sleep in and was served breakfast in bed. What else could you ask for?

Remember the suprise?? Behold...................

He did well. He even took the time to add certain upgrades that he thought I would need. I cannot believe my kids were able to keep this quiet. Needless to say, I love it and have been playing with it ever since, which means my family has not had a meal cooked or any laundry done since my birthday. My bad.

Today is the beginning of firing up the greenhouse, the seeds arrived as planned and there will be seeds planted tonight. I'm a little behind the ball, but better late than never.

Now, I need to go back to trying to figure out this Windows Vista operating system. It has some pretty cool features, but you know the saying about 'old dogs' and after Friday, I guess I qualify!

Back to Reality!

The new laptop is tres lovely! Good Husband! I'm rather anti-Vista myself, but for more reasons then having to learn something new.

I'm glad your birthday weekend turned out well.

Happy Birthday!!! Life begins at
40 :-) We bought a new Dell laptop recently too (a refurbished one), but I went out of my way to get one without Vista so I could continue to avoid it. Let us know what you think.
