Date Night

Sorry, this isn't going to be much of a post tonight, my husband and I just returned from 'date night' and I'm tired! Once a week we try to do something together that doesn't involve the kiddies, if for no other reason than to be able to have a complete conversation without being interrupted by "moooooom!!" or "hey, daaaaaad??" You parents out there know what I'm talking about, right?

I find myself making notes all week to remind me of the things I want to talk to him about - sad, but true.

The kids think it's cute and tease us quite a bit about our date nights - they think it's corny - but they will understand when they are married.

When they ask us what we did all night my husband likes to say, "we made out all night in the car" this is enough to gross them out and then they stop asking.

Anyway, I'll have a better post tomorrow, the kids and I are heading to St. Paul - there is always something there that makes for a good post.
