You're Worth It!

Flowers, one of my favorite things. I'm not talking big bouquets of roses, no thanks. I'm talking bouquets just like this - good old country flowers with huge color.

Lucky for me, I sell at a Farmers Market with a local farm that makes these beautiful bouquets. How self-indulgent of me to buy myself a huge bouquet every week, right? They cost $15.00. $15.00! Can you believe that? Who CAN'T afford to do that?

Go find a Farmers Market near you and indulge yourself! Trust me, you're worth it.

Flowers are not a splurge; they are a necessity. :-)

i love having flowers at my desk at work. the farmers market in downtown mpls is on thursdays, over the noon hour. when i buy flowers i only have them for thursday and friday.... they usually don't last over the weekend.

but i get 'em anyway. i'm like you; i love having them in the room.

I had a friend who believed in skipping lunch once a week and spending the money on flowers. I believe in cutting my own--why wouldn't you???

That is a whole lot of purty for fifteen clams.

Green girl - if I could grow flowers like this?? I'd be a cutting fool - unfortunately, my veggies take priority and all my time - so the flowers end up looking like something your kids picked up at the ballpark and carried home in their sweaty little hands:) Not that those bouquets aren't cute too - but not like these!!

Thanks for the comments ladies - they make me just as happy as my flowers!

Thanks for visiting my blog! I LOVE your blog design...just beautiful.

There is nothing like have fresh flowers in the house. They add such an element of simple beauty to a room, and they always put me in a better mood.

I love your flowers, They look wonderful, but I think it's a waste. There just going to end up on the compost heap. I could buy something more lasting for $15 bucks. But if you like them, I say do what makes you happy woman!

That's what I liked about when I would visit my (ex) friends in Seattle, we'd go to Pikes Place. I'd buy my friend (who's house I was staying at) flowers. Then I even flew home w/a LARGE bouquet of dried flowers for my living room.

Even better? You know the person who grew then and tended them with their own hands, then you get to pay them directly ... no middle man. Whoo hoo! I love farmer's markets.

Beautiful flowers!! I'd like to grow flowers to sell too. We are opening our first time road stand in the next week or two and that would be a great addition...good idea, maybe next year.
