We made it. The drive up was full of chatter - venting about our husbands, worries about our kids, our dreams and how as we age, those dreams change. 4 hours of non-stop talkinng. Wonderful.
We are off in about 20 minutes to our first day of construction. We have no idea what to expect, but the weather could not be more perfect. The sun rose over Lake Superior this morning and the temps are supposed to hit 60 degrees. Although, the end of the week looks a little dicey - rain, cold and possibly snow. But for today, we are going to soak up the sun and enjoy.
Here is the first video installment - please forgive the 7 a.m. hairdo and morning breath!
Have a great day.

I am so happy to made it safely. You are the coolest-even with the bedhead and morning breath.
How cool to hear your voice! It makes you so much more real. Nice voice, face and hair. : ) And the place! wow. You're not roughing it. How nice. I am so excited about this whole thing. Thanks for sharing it here.
